Open the Profile tab (bottom navigation). To edit how you appear to others, either tap your name/photo card at the top of the page, or tap the Edit Profile card (the pencil-icon button next to My Cars); both open the Edit Profile screen. There’s no separate Save button: a Save changes button appears once you’ve made an edit (changes are also kept if you go back).
- Profile picture: tap your photo to replace it via Camera or Gallery. Use a recent, clear photo that shows you; SAFER may remove a photo that’s unclear or doesn’t show the account holder.
- Bio: a short “about you” (up to 250 characters; don’t put contact info in it).
- Work, education & places lived: add up to 3 work experiences, your college and high school, and the places you’ve lived.
- Accessibility: optionally note a disability (type, level) and whether it shows on your profile.
- Name in Arabic: add it here if you didn’t set it at signup.
- Preferences: tap Preferences to set your ride preferences: music, A/C, smoking, pets, conversation, and speed. If you’re a car owner, you’ll also set car preferences (luggage, children/infants, food, drive-through and rest-area stops, highway speed).
Account-level changes live under Profile → Account Settings:
- Switch language: Account Settings → Language → English / العربية.
- Contact details & governorate: Account Settings → Account Information to update your governorate, email, or phone. Changing your email or phone requires re-authentication and re-verification. (Name in English and date of birth are shown here but can’t be changed.)
- Password: Account Settings → Change your Password.
