Same roads. A much better way to travel them.

The idea came to us the same way it comes to most Egyptians. We were trying to travel. Visit family, go to the coast, get somewhere outside Cairo. Egypt has over 100 million people, more than 11 million registered cars on its roads, and Egyptian Railways alone serves over 400 million passenger trips every year. The demand is enormous. But the experience of actually getting somewhere, especially outside the major cities, is still overcrowded buses, unreliable schedules, and microbuses that barely cover the routes you need.

We looked into it and found that carpooling in Egypt was already happening, just without any structure. We all know someone who has shared a ride with a friend to avoid traveling alone, or caught a lift because someone was already going the same way. It happens every day, informally, through group chats and phone calls. SAFER is simply that same thing, done properly. Verified accounts, payments inside the app, and every trip tracked from start to finish.
