Verification keeps SAFER trustworthy: everyone on a trip has been reviewed by our team. You need to be verified to join trips as a passenger (and it’s the first step to becoming a car owner).
Where to go: open the Profile tab and tap the Verify your identity card. (New accounts are taken here automatically right after sign-up.) This opens a short wizard with a progress bar. Work through the steps:
- Your nationality: choose Egyptian or non-Egyptian.
- ID details: enter the details from your ID.
- Verification photos: take the in-app photos:
- Egyptians: your National ID, front and back.
- Non-Egyptians: your passport (front and back) and residence permit (front and back).
- Then Take a selfie: we compare it against your ID.
- Review & submit, then tap Submit verification. You’ll see a “Request Submitted!” confirmation.
Your profile picture is set separately in your profile; it isn’t part of ID verification.
Our admin team reviews every submission. Once approved, a check-mark appears on your profile photo to show you’re verified. Verification can take some time while we confirm your documents are genuine.
