At SAFER, our mission is to provide an eco-friendly, efficient, and secure carpooling experience for all our users across Egypt. These guidelines are designed to ensure that every member of the SAFER community enjoys a safe, respectful, and positive experience. Adhering to these standards helps protect the rights and safety of everyone in our community.

General Conduct

  • Respect and Courtesy: Treat all users with respect and courtesy. Discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Punctuality: Be on time for your scheduled trips. 
  • Cleanliness: Keep the car clean and tidy. Avoid leaving any trash or personal belongings behind.
  • Communication: Use clear and polite communication. Respond promptly to messages and requests.

Safety Measures

  • Seat Belts: All passengers and car owners must wear seat belts at all times.
  • Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Car owners must follow all traffic and safety laws, and ensure that the vehicle meets all safety standards and is properly maintained.
  • Emergency Protocols: In case of an emergency, prioritize safety and contact local authorities immediately.

Verification and Trust

  • Accurate Information: Ensure that all provided information (profile details, trip listings, etc.) is accurate and up-to-date. Misrepresentation of identity or credentials (such as car owner’s license, vehicle registration) is grounds for immediate account suspension.
  • Feedback and Ratings: After each trip, provide honest and constructive feedback. This helps maintain the quality and trustworthiness of the community.

Prohibited Activities

  • Illegal Substances: The use or transportation of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
  • Weapons: Carrying weapons of any kind is strictly prohibited and will result in potential legal action.
  • Unauthorized Passengers: Only registered and verified users are allowed to join a trip. Additional travelers are not permitted unless their information is added.
  • Appropriate Use of Technology: Use the SAFER app responsibly. Do not attempt to manipulate the app for unfair advantage or disruption of services.

User Responsibilities

  • Car Owners: Maintain your vehicle in good condition, ensure it is roadworthy, and provide a safe and comfortable travel experience for passengers.
  • Passengers: Respect the Car Owner’s vehicle and communicate any specific needs or preferences in advance.
  • Reporting Issues: Report any issues, misconduct, or violations of these guidelines to SAFER support immediately.
